ARTKULTUR program

DESCRIPTION

ARTKULTUR started during COVID-19 lockdowns when children needed creative outlets at home. What began as simple art activities to help kids cope with quarantine has grown into something bigger. Now, we keep culture alive through young artists’ works. Children learn traditional art, create new styles, and earn from their talents. They share stories through their art and teach other kids too.
What helped our children during the pandemic continues today, keeping our culture strong through young creative minds.

1. Objectives

Mental Health Through Art
Provide children creative outlets through art activities to maintain good mental health during pandemic lockdowns.

Art for Livelihood
Help children earn from their artistic talents by creating and selling artwork during quarantine periods.

Youth Teaching Youth
Develop young artists who can teach and mentor other children, creating a sustainable cycle of artistic growth in communities.

We aim to work together to support children’s well-being while building lasting creative skills and opportunities.

Resume Date: TBA

2. Deliverables

  • Organization of 5 art workshops and community events focusing on traditional and contemporary cultural expressions.
  • Creation and distribution of digital and print materials (e.g., booklets, videos) documenting local heritage and art forms.
  • Funding and support for 10 cultural projects that showcase local artistry and traditions.
  • Establishment of partnerships with schools and cultural institutions to engage youth in art and cultural programs.
  • Curation of an annual art exhibition or festival to showcase the work of local artists and promote cultural heritage.

3. Schedule

ARTKULTUR maximizes school breaks to nurture young artistic talents while respecting their academic commitments. Our program runs intensively during summer and semestral breaks, offering structured art sessions that build both creative and entrepreneurial skills. Children learn, create, and even earn from their art during these dedicated periods, turning their free time into opportunities for artistic growth and personal development.
