Indigenous People and Marginalized Groups

DESCRIPTION
Our Indigenous People and Marginalized Groups program focuses on supporting and empowering communities that need it most, especially our IP communities. We work closely with indigenous peoples to protect their rights, preserve their cultural heritage, and improve their access to basic services and opportunities. Through partnerships with local organizations, we help marginalized groups build better futures while respecting their traditions and values. This program ensures that no community is left behind, promoting inclusive development that celebrates diversity and upholds dignity for all.
1. Objectives
To protect rights, preserve culture, and create opportunities for indigenous people (IP) communities. We focus on helping vulnerable communities secure their land rights, understand their legal protections, and maintain their traditional practices while strengthening their collective voice. Our cultural preservation efforts keep traditions alive through education and training, local events, young leader training, and language preservation initiatives. To improve daily lives, we help communities access education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities while developing basic community facilities. By working directly with communities, not just for them, we ensure our support respects their traditions while building paths to better futures. This balanced approach helps protect both their heritage and their opportunities for growth.
