GHFI Empowers Indigenous and Marginalized Students Through Education<\/strong><\/p>\n

Green Heart Foundation demonstrated its commitment to inclusive education this Christmas season by extending vital support to underserved communities at Santa Praxedes National High School (SPHS). The foundation awarded comprehensive scholarship grants to 30 carefully selected students, primarily focusing on Indigenous Peoples (IPs) and those from marginalized backgrounds.<\/p>\n

In a significant move towards educational equity, Captain Renel C. Ramos, representing Green Heart Foundation, presented a donation of 100,000 pesos to SPHS. This funding covers two years of miscellaneous fees for scholars who meet the foundation’s stringent qualification criteria, ensuring that support reaches those who need it most while recognizing academic merit and determination.
\nThe foundation’s selection process specifically prioritizes:<\/p>\n

Students from Indigenous communities preserving their cultural heritage
\nYouth from marginalized and economically challenged backgrounds
\nAcademically promising students who demonstrate potential despite socioeconomic barriers<\/p>\n

The foundation’s participation in the school’s Christmas program served multiple purposes beyond the monetary contribution:<\/p>\n

Rain fell on the morning of Santa Praxedes National High School’s Christmas program, but inside the gymnasium, hope was shining bright. Green Heart Foundation arrived to fulfill an important promise – educational support for thirty deserving students from marginalized communities and Indigenous Peoples groups.<\/p>\n

The ceremony unfolded smoothly as GHFI representative presented the foundation’s scholarship grants, which covered two years of miscellaneous fees for the selected scholars. One by one, thirty students stepped forward to be recognized, each representing dreams made possible through educational support.<\/p>\n

Principal Rebecca Caliva and the SPHS community warmly welcomed the foundation’s initiative. After the ceremony, everyone gathered in the faculty office for lunch, celebrating not just Christmas, but a partnership that opens new doors for deserving students.
