Environmental Action, Reforestry and Agro-forestry
are key strategies for preserving ecosystems and addressing climate change. Environmental action involves efforts to protect and restore the environment through sustainable practices, conservation, and reducing pollution. Reforestation focuses on planting trees in deforested areas, which helps restore biodiversity, combat climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide, and prevent soil erosion.
Disaster Preparedness, Response and Recovery
Preparedness involves proactive planning, training, and securing resources to mitigate the impact, ensuring that communities are ready to act swiftly. Response focuses on immediate actions, such as search and rescue, medical aid, and relief distribution, which are critical for saving lives and preventing further damage. Recovery aims to restore and rebuild affected areas, fostering long-term resilience.
Indigenous People, Marginalized Groups, Children and Elders
Represent vulnerable segments of society that often face significant challenges in accessing basic rights and opportunities. Indigenous people often struggle to protect their cultural heritage, land, and resources due to historical marginalization and discrimination. Marginalized groups, including those based on race, gender, or economic status, face systemic inequalities, limiting their access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities
